4th Year Church Anniversary

๐ŸŒฟ 4th Year Church Anniversary Blog Recap
Theme: “And the Greatest of These Is Love” — 1 Corinthians 13:13

Our hearts are full as we look back on the celebration of our 4th Year Church Anniversary — a day marked by gratitude, memories, and a renewed reminder of God’s unfailing love.

What began as a small home church has now become a living testimony of God’s faithfulness. Through the years, our little church has survived many storms — seasons of uncertainty, challenges, changes in members, and moments that tested our faith. Yet through it all, the Lord remained constant. When people came and went, God stayed. When resources seemed limited, His provision was enough. Truly, His work never stopped.

✨ A Meaningful Homecoming

One of the highlights of the celebration was the message shared by Pastor Tony Ticsay. Long before he became a pastor serving another church, he walked closely with our church family. Together with our Senior Pastor, Mel Cerro, he went house to house, leading Bible studies and planting seeds of faith in the lives of our members.

Pastor Tony has always carried a boldness in sharing the Word of God — without fear and with deep conviction. Seeing him return felt like a full-circle moment. He came home to the very place where his journey of preaching began, accompanied by his lovely wife, Jocy Ticsay. Their presence was a blessing and a reminder that God completes the stories He starts.

๐ŸŽถ Grateful for Faithful Servants

We were also thankful to see familiar faces — reminders of seasons that helped shape our church. The Cable family, led by Glenn Cable, who once served as our Music Ministry Head together with his wife Anna Cable, brought joy and nostalgia. Their faithfulness in leading worship remains part of our church’s story.

Our appreciation extends deeply to the family of Pastor Mel, especially his loving wife, Bebs Cerro. Despite their senior age, they continue to serve the Lord wholeheartedly. Their lives declare a powerful truth:
There is no retirement in serving God.
Service may change in form, but devotion never ends.

๐Ÿค A Church Family That Keeps Growing

We celebrate not only those who stayed, but also those who visited — the first-time attendees, classmates who responded to invites, neighbors who became curious, family members who were encouraged to come, and relatives who traveled despite distance just to be present.

Every person who walked through the church doors became part of the testimony of that day.

Some members have arrived and later moved on, and that is part of every ministry journey. Yet this anniversary reminded us that God’s work is not dependent on numbers — it is sustained by His faithfulness.

๐ŸŒฑ The Story Continues

Four years is more than a milestone. It is proof that God builds, restores, and sustains. Our home church may be small, but it carries big stories of grace, transformation, and love.

We celebrate the past with gratitude, the present with joy, and the future with faith — believing that the Lord who started this work will continue to move in ways greater than we can imagine.

๐Ÿ“– “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” — 1 Corinthians 13:13

To God be all the glory — for every storm survived, every life touched, and every chapter still being written.
